Remember what it felt like to be a student at Okanagan College? Imagine if you'd had a network of professionals who could share the answers you needed when you were graduating and going off into the real world.

Just like you, students and recent graduates today are full of potential but unsure of where to start.

Today, we're making that network a reality. Okanagan College and the Okanagan College Alumni Association have partnered with Ten Thousand Coffees and RBC Future Launch, a professional development platform, to create OC Connects and we need people just like you to lead it.

How does it work?

  1. You will be automatically matched with a student each month who has questions related to your background, degree and skill set.
  2. Grab a coffee with them in-person, chat on the phone, or meet virtually on Google Hangouts.
  3. Use your Okanagan College-affiliated mentorship to add to your CV and get a LinkedIn profile certification to add to your volunteer experience.

Since 2002, the Okanagan College Alumni Association has been conferring awards upon graduates who contribute to their communities and industries in countless ways. The Alumni Association awards are an opportunity to honour the extraordinary contributions and recognize the positive impact that our graduates have in improving the lives of those around them.

We are proud of the impact our Alumni have locally, nationally and internationally. The recognition of accomplished alumni promotes the excellence of Okanagan College, its graduates and the Alumni Association. Their accomplishments serve as an excellent example for all who follow and are a testimony to the educational foundation provided to them by Okanagan College.
